The big blind is the forced bet posted by the player two seats left of the dealer button before any cards are dealt. It sets the minimum call amount for that hand and rotates one seat clockwise after each deal.

Community cards are the shared cards dealt face-up in the centre of the table—three on the flop, one on the turn, and one on the river. Every player uses them alongside their hole cards to make the best five-card poker hand.

Pot odds compare the current size of the pot to the cost of your call. If the pot holds two hundred Taka and you must call fifty, your pot odds are four to one, helping you decide whether the potential payout justifies the risk.

Hole cards are the private cards dealt face-down to each player at the start of a hand. In Texas Hold'em you receive two; in Omaha you get four. Only you see them, and you use them with the community cards to form your final hand.

Showdown happens after the river betting round when two or more players remain. Each player reveals their hole cards, and the dealer compares hands to award the pot to the best five-card combination. If everyone else folds earlier, no showdown occurs.

A continuation bet is when the pre-flop raiser bets again on the flop, continuing the aggression. It signals strength and often forces opponents with weak hands to fold, even if the raiser missed the flop entirely.
